Using Invoodle
Invoodle provides browser tools for preparing invoices, quotes and receipts, plus calculators and draft checks. Browser-local document creation and PDF download are available without an account. Optional hosted or account features may require sign-in and may be unavailable on some sites.
Use the service only for lawful purposes and only with information, business identities and assets you are authorised to use. Do not use it to impersonate another business, create fraudulent payment requests or interfere with another person’s access.
Review documents before you send them
You choose the customer, scope, quantities, prices, currency, tax entries, due date and payment details. Check those choices against the actual transaction and your agreement. Templates and example prices are starting points, not recommended market rates or a determination of local tax requirements.
Invoice Check performs the supported completeness and arithmetic checks; it does not certify legal or tax compliance, bank ownership, delivered work or payment receipt. Date and pricing calculators use the inputs and conventions described on their pages. These tools do not replace professional advice where it is needed.
Payments recorded in the editor are manual records. Entering a received amount does not collect money or verify a transfer. Check external payment links and their amounts before sharing them.
Local storage and backups
Guest drafts and saved documents are stored in the browser where you create them. Signing in does not automatically transfer them to an account or another device. Browser storage can be blocked, cleared or lost.
Keep downloaded PDFs and export a backup from Documents when appropriate. Invoodle cannot retrieve a browser-only document that you have deleted and have not otherwise backed up. A local delete action does not remove copies already downloaded or sent to somebody else.
Sharing and recipients
A regular share link contains an encoded document copy and has no server-side revoke or expiry control. Optional hosted sharing uploads an encrypted snapshot after a separate action, with the expiry and revocation controls described in the app. Share only documents and recipient details you are authorised to disclose.
Anyone with a complete link and the required site access can view its snapshot. Later edits do not update an existing snapshot. Revocation or expiry stops future retrieval through the app; it cannot erase a recipient’s downloaded, copied or captured version.
Email, WhatsApp, device sharing and payment services have their own terms. You review the recipient and complete any sending or payment action in the relevant service. Opening a sharing app does not prove delivery.
Accounts and developer features
Keep your sign-in credentials, API keys, webhook secrets and complete hosted links private. Developer API calls can store invoice content server-side, separately from guest browser documents. Developer features can also store account-linked keys, request records, webhook destinations and delivery records. Enabled webhooks can send invoice data to the destination you configure. Only configure destinations you control or are authorised to use.
Signing out, revoking an API key, deleting a local document and revoking a hosted link are different actions. None should be assumed to delete every record associated with an account. Contact invoodle@gmail.com for account or service questions.
Your content and third-party materials
Using the editor does not by itself transfer rights you hold in your document text, logo, signature or other materials to Invoodle. Only include material you have permission to use and share. Document wording does not automatically grant or enforce an image licence or other rights agreement.
The service includes third-party software and assets that remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and licences. Invoodle’s own service content and branding are distinct from the documents you create.
Availability, changes and support
The tools are provided as available. Access, features and integrations can change or be interrupted, and a private site can restrict recipients. There is no guarantee of continuous access, recovery of local files, a fixed support response time or a particular business outcome.
No statement here is intended to exclude a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Questions about a transaction’s legal or accounting requirements need review under the rules that apply to it.
Privacy and contact
The Privacy Policy explains the separate handling of local documents, optional hosted snapshots, accounts, contact messages and analytics. It should not be read as a claim that all use of the site stays offline or involves no third parties.
For support or questions about these terms, use the contact page or email invoodle@gmail.com.
